Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程研究所 === 102 === In order to prevent drivers from many car accidents which may cause some casualties because of opening the car doors improperly, it designed a forcely-delayed door-opening device for safety to reduce the happenings of the accidents.
This device, based on the switch of the photoelectric sensors, is a sensor, installed on the left and right side view mirrors of the front doors to detect whether there is a car coming. Inside door handles are changed into electronic switches to lock and unlock the door by controlling the solenoid valve actuators. When people in the car open the inside door handles, the door will be opened automatically after 4 seconds, if the sensors detect that there is a car coming. Meanwhile, there are sounds from the buzzers to warn people in the car that there is a car coming soon. Besides, to remind people outside the car, when they pass by, that they need to alert that the doors open, whether there are cars coming, the device is also designed to warn the rear cars by flashing the indicators, which are at the same side as the use of the door handles.
Under the consideration of car safety, when designing the device, we remain the original mechanical inside door handles and do not change and interfere with the central control locking device, the security devices , the locking devices for children’s safety and the automatic safety locking device when driving, to avoid the accidents caused by electronic malfunction or power failure.
The study analyzes the sensor can be measured at a distance of 42.6 m from the next door, the installation of this device can effectively avoid the 70km/hr speed limit to drive a short distance to a sudden shock to open the door of the accident.
