Logistics trend closely connected with the development trend of various industries, but few of literature analyze the development trend of logistics. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to explore the development trend of logistics. Hoped that through the results of the analysis in this study, can provide industries, government and schools for reference and as a basis for future research.
This study collected logistics and supply chain papers published between 2004 and 2014, and summarized in accordance with themes to propose logistics and supply chain management issues framework. To learn the cores of academic research between 2004 and 2014 through statistics approaches and contents of literature, and thus able to explain the development trend of logistics and propose relevant recommendations for communities as a reference.
The results indicate that the emerging trend of logistics management include integration and agility of supply chain, network design and planning, information technology, costs, environment, partnership. Future research could extend to cultivate the ability of talent and to explore academic curriculum design and planning based on the results of this study.
