There were few studies about SaaS. Therefore, this study adopts the framework from Heart (2010); combined with Transaction Cost Theory (TCT) and Resource Based View (RBV) to develop a research model that examines important factors affecting adoption intentions of SaaS from vendor community. We extended the variables of system unavailability, data insecurity, and perceived reputation, perceived capabilities to better explain the perceived rick and trust for businesses adopt SaaS under cloud computing context. With corporate companies continue using SaaS for a period in Taiwan as research subjects, data analysis is conducted via PLS statistical analysis, with 76 valid questionnaires returned. This study concludes ten main results with using software as a service, including: (1) Perceived risk of systems unavailability is negatively affects organizational intention to adopt SaaS. (2) Perceived risk of data insecurity negatively affects organizational intention to adopt SaaS. (3) Perceived risk of SaaS is positively correlated to perceived risk of systems unavailability. (4) Perceived risk of SaaS and perceived risk of data insecurity are positively correlated. (5) Perceived risk of data insecurity and perceived risk of systems unavailability are positively correlated. (6) Perceived reputation of the SaaS vendor community positively affects the organizational intention to adopt SaaS. (7) Perceived reputation of the SaaS vendor community positively affects trust in the SaaS vendor community. (8) Perceived capabilities of the SaaS vendor community positively affects trust in the SaaS vendor community. (9) Trust in the SaaS vendor community negatively affects perceived risk of SaaS. Finally, Application’s inimitability is negatively associated with organizational intention to adopt SaaS. On the whole, most of hypotheses were supported. Implications and practical suggests are also provided. Szu-Yuan Sun 孫思源 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 110 en_US |
