Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 資訊管理系企業電子化碩士班 === 102 === This study aims to investigate the influence of firm performance when firm strategy interacts with business activities and competitive environment. According to existing theories in the literature, we propose a service firms strategy alignment model. This study considered that business strategy and information technology strategy are influence during business activities. On the other hand, in the context of services firms, this study found that service-dominant logic may help implementation of strategy alignment for service firms. This mean that service firms need to develop, assimilate and apply of service-dominant logic to improved their information technology and business strategy.
In order to test the proposed model and hypotheses, we adopt the survey research to collect data from a group of service firms in Taiwan, there are 213 firms filling out the questionnaires completely. This study finds that service-dominant logic can help implementation of strategy alignment for service firms; information technology strategy can help implementation of strategy alignment for service firms; strategy alignment could influence to firm performance; competitive environment could not influence to firm performance. Although competitive environment could not influence to firm performance but it provide a new direction for strategy alignment future research. Thus, service firms need to rely on strategy alignment and service-dominant logic to considerate their information technology and business strategy, further to enhance firm performance.
