Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 應用日語研究所 === 102 === Many different types of Japanese words learning materials are sold in Taiwan. Some Japanese words materials are distinguished with JLPT level. And some are distinguished with variety topics. For example: common words in daily life, tourism Japanese words, commercial Japanese word, etc. Arrangements are a wide variety of materials. For example: illustration, example sentence, column type, image memory type, association type, etc. Japanese words learning materials is variety. This study would like to analyze these kinds of Japanese words learning materials in order to understand the arrangements, contents of learning materials,the example whether it is appropriate. And is it effectively helps to learn Japanese words and memorize Japanese words. On the other hand, this study would also want to know what learning strategies are used in learning Japanese words by students.After analysis of Japanese words learning materials can help to distinguish the merits and deficiencies of these learning strategies. And to help students cam easily learn and remember more securely in learning Japanese words. This thesis consists of five chapters as described below, respectively. Chapter 1 introduces with the motivation, purpose, research methods, research procedures and structure of this thesis. Chapter 2 is based on precedent researches, the background of analysis of learning materials and the method of learning Japanese words. Chapter 3 is an analysis of self- learning materials. In this chapter, author analyzes self- learning materials published in Taiwan. In order to understand the arrangement and the consists of the self- learning materials. Chapter 4 depicts the results of the questionnaire surveys, in order to know what will enhance the Japanese learner’s wiliness. Chapter 5 is conclusion of this thesis, summarizes the analysis of learning materials. And explain the deficiencies and future research topics of this thesis. The results from the analysis of the learning materials can know Japanese vocabulary learning materials are mostly classified with “gojuuon”, speech on topic. The words in subject classification learning materials are mostly include food, clothing, shelter, traffic, daily life common words. Examples sentences are the most common used in all analyze projects.Image memory method are most used in primary learning materials. In addition, most of the learning materials have not practice problem. The analysis of learning materials used the form of practice are fill in the blank and replace practice. In chapter 4 questionnaire analysis made assumptions. Independent samples, use the statistical analysis of independent samples T-test and descriptive statistics to analyze these research questions. But the results show that both men and women or language ability are not affect the choice and preference of learning materials..
