In this paper, we first consider the strength types that pipelines may be damaged. We use an ANSYS modeling to simulate corrosion defects in a single case by a different width or depth and understand the stress effects. To generate random numbers by MATLAB, a 3D curve surface with the random numbers is created and exported to IGES files by AUTOCAD VBA program. Next, it is modeling by CATIA and stress analysis by ANSYS. There are single rectangular, spherical defects, two defects each other affect to investigate stress analysis.
