Summary: | 碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 環境工程學系碩士班 === 102 === In recent years, the global climate and the surface water in Taiwan changes drastically. It causes the lack of the water resource obviously and so does the environment of groundwater. The study of groundwater resource in Taiwan is mainly located at plains. We know less information about the groundwater in mountains. But the groundwater in mountains can make contributions to the recharge areas. Therefore, by collecting the groundwater’s information and application will be an important issue for sustainability.
The groundwater quality characteristics usually because the source of groundwater geochemical reactions and the water - rock reaction within the rock, so by analyzing the composition of the groundwater water quality, we can understand the process of the formation of groundwater. In this study, we survey the groundwater quality in the central of Taiwan and analyze data to know the recent situation. We also use Inverse models to simulate the hydrogeochemical reactions. The elevation of the study area is average 568 meters above the sea level. We sample and analyze 81 wells from 2010 to 2013, including pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solid (TDS), oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), ammonia nitrogen and principal components. According to the water quality analysis and modeling results, we can comprehend the characteristic of groundwater and the relationship with geology. It can have an advantages and enhance the sustainability of groundwater resource in the central of Taiwan.
