This study adopted the strategic matrix method developed by Professor Dah-Hsian Seetoo to analyze a case which operates in Taiwan's northern, central and southern areas. The analytical results demonstrated that (1) Business models and operating locations will be influenced by degrees of customers’ concentration in each area. (2) Vertical integration in the industry can increase the wholesaler’s and middlemen’s sales volume. (3) Distributors’ horizontal integration will reduce operating costs and create economies of scale. According to the above findings, this study proposed some future policy guidelines for the practitioners in the industry.
