Description
Summary:碩士 === 桃園創新技術學院 === 材料應用科技研究所 === 102 === Due to the environment sustainable development requirement, the industries focus on how to reduce the carbon foot print of their products. Cement, being the main material of construction works, produces 0.8 to 0.85 ton of CO2 in its productive process per ton of cement. To go toward green development, the research topic of this paper focuses on “Low carbon mortar partition”. The cementitious materials consists of 70% GGBS and 30% OPC. The water binder ratios were 0.35, 0.40, 0.45, 0.50 and 0.55. Glass fiber grids were applied to increase it flexural strength. In order to remove the side form of concrete or mortar, the early compressive strength of mortar or concrete need to achieve 35 kgf/cm2. The curing conditions were in the water of normal temperature and of high temperature. The high temperature curing condition simulated the precast productive process. The tests results showed that the main factors which influence the development of early compressive strength of mortar were temperature and cement content. In other words, in summer season, use the concrete or mortar mixes with higher GGBS content and lower cement content of the same water binder ratio. In winter season, if early compressive strength is required, do not reduce the cement content of the original mixes. The compressive strength of all the experiment mixes in this paper reach or over the strength of 35 kgf/cm2 in 36 hours. This research also provides a formula to predict the early compressive strength of mortar at the age of one day. Finally, the carbon foot print of a low carbon mortar partition was estimated compared with that of a conventional reinforced concrete wall.
