Self-narrative with the way of narrative research-oriented and collecting the data on one’s own to do research on the experiences and the growth of researcher’s childhood and the development of nursing education. The researcher does research on husband who suffers from terminal cancer which causes the fault of personal life and face the course of coexistence with the cancer. Meanwhile, the researcher also does research on the mentality process of mother-in-law, mother and sister who pass away due to cancer. The result from the research finds that the phenomenon of the general caring process which is the worry and the fear of losing, the uncertainty of the therapy, the irreversible of the illness and being compelled to give up the treatment. As the family member of the terminal cancer patient, one suffers from the pain and the torture during the process of keeping accompany with the ill family members. In order not to let the family members be tortured by cancer and the pain during first-aid treatment, the researcher decides to sign DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) to let their loved ones pass away with dignity. And the researcher discusses the phenomenon of grief, lost and unbearable feeling, missing, emptiness and vanishing after the dead of the family members. Though this paper, I hope to give a power of support to those who suffer from the same situation. The result of the research which is the self-medication of liver cancer therapy makes up as a video “To See the Dawn of Life” to share personal experiences, provide as a reference to the patients, and convey the belief and the empathy of “Only by going through it can you understand.” After going through the life transformed impact of the family members who continuously suffer from terminal cancer, the author retrieve the love with the power of psychodrama.Frankly face the inner world, live and see the true self.
