Living in an environment to stimulate the visual sense is among the five most obvious and most enduring, so effective in the past for the environment mostly focuses on visual ability to feel, but the sound environment in which there is associated, in addition to the noise of in addition, the environment is still present in some valuable sound positive, such as natural sound (Juju Wang, 2001; Chen Yiting, 2007). However, previous research in environmental psychology reaction less with visual and auditory collocation discussion. Overview of the above description, Therefore, the physical aspects of this study is to explore the landscape environment and soundscape can create relationships of physical activity and health.
This study aims to conduct a quasi-experimental design, Use convenience sampling to National Hsinchu University of Education students as Surveying object, quiz at school aerobic fitness center, a total of 90 subjects. Study use only play movie and audio while playing manner conduct, and experimental physical activity through treadmill. used pretest and post the test self-esteem, emotional and health differences. The tool used in the research were: International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSE), Profile of Mood States Questionnaire (POMS) and 12-item Short-Form health survey (SF-12).
The results showed that engaging in physical activities before and after, physical activity, self-esteem, emotional and health with significant differences, By the mean number to know physical activity after significantly higher than before, Explain of physical activity for people physically and mentally is a positive influence. In different landscape environment (natural, unnatural) engaged physical activity in the amount of physical activity have a different effects, and engaged the green exercise after can moderation enhance self-esteem and moderately. In different soundscape (silent, sound of bird, sound of water) engaged physical activity, the natural environment can produce different amount of physical activity (silent> sound of bird> sound of water), the unnatural environment on the positive self-esteem (sound of water> silent> sound of bird) and confused emotions (sound of bird> silent> sound of water) have reached significant.
This study through human-environment interactions empirical results, to evoke the everyone attention of the health benefits of the landscape environment. Hoping by this study result to landscape design and environmental of the perception aspect of study somewhat benefit.
