The subjects of this research were 29 sixth grade elementary school students in Hsin Chu Country in 2014. The research adopt action research approach. The research tool is Test of Divergent Thinking. The quantification data analyzed the points before and after the test using SPSS for Windows to do the t-test; the qualitative data includes the teaching notes, the amendment of the data by classroom video taping observation, diaries, and interviews. The researcher concluded the results below: 1. The Orff Approach curriculum applied to the Arts and Humanities Area aimed at promoting elementary school students’ creativity is to explore, imitate, impromptu and create. The contents and strategies of Orff music methods of teaching are taken as the model of the curruculum. 2. The Orff Approach applied to the Arts and Humanities Areas can improve the abilities of creativity. 3. Through the using of the Orff Approach, students are able to explore and demostrate the lesson goals in the field of the Arts and Humanities.
