Summary: | 博士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 教育學系博士班 === 102 === This study is aimed to investigate the degree of satisfaction and demand to the present situation of the supporting system caused by integrating the new topic of Nanotechnology into the school teaching and further thinking about how to improve the supporting system. The first stage of the study is "empirical analysis." Use "survey method" and "depth interviews" to analyze the partner school teachers’ degree of satisfaction and demand to the supporting system. The second stage is to use the "Delphi Technique Research Act" to construct the aspects and content of the ideal supporting system.
This study conducted literature collection and document analysis to develop the questionnaire. The objects of this study are the partner schools’ membership in the National Science Council of Nanotechnology Personnel Training Project, a total of 238 people. Meanwhile, interview if the study needs. Further, with 15 education scholars’ and experts’ assist, conduct three times of "Delphi Technique Research Act." It was a total of 150 valid questionnaires. The response rate of three times of "Delphi Technique Research Act" was 93.3%. Use the statistical software to conduct statistics analysis, and we have the following conclusions:in supporting system empirical analysis stage, the new topic of Nanotechnology integrated into the school teaching has multiple implementation patterns, strategies and methods, but it has different levels of difficulty in external agencies, schools and teachers themselves when implementing. In addition, one of the cornerstones of success to promote this project is the improvement and satisfaction of the teaching profession and schools can voluntarily participate in the Nanotechnology teaching. On the 4-point scale, the partner school teachers’ degree of satisfaction to the present situation of the supporting system is between "3-satisfied" and "2-dissatisfied." The degree of demand is between "3-necessary" and "4-very necessary." The partner school membership with different background variables has significant differences on the degree of demand when the school location variables are different. In constructing an appropriate supporting system stage, the present supporting system is an ideal and practical supporting system which is constructed by the "Delphi Technique Research Act." It includes "resource planning programs," "professional growth planning programs," "school administrative supporting," "teaching ancillary," "programs evaluation," and "others." They are in total of 6 aspects and 30 aspects of content.
Finally, in constructing appropriate supporting system organizations, the administrative units must have more completed and flexible ancillary practice, and promote organization energy with both the ideal and the actual aspect. In this way, we can let excellent talents show their enthusiastic professional competence.
