碩士 === 國防大學 === 戰略研究所 === 102 === After witnessing the Gulf War, PLA realizes that only highly efficient Joint Operation could dominate the future battlefield. Based on the western Revolution of Military Affairs and couple of distant engagement, precision strike, non-linear operation, and mobile ground warfare, PLA is now seeking the Integrated Joint Operation. Especially in Iraq War, the U.S. troops used swift accurate attacking, powerful military ability of joint operation and the flexibilities of command and dispatch. Each country cause concern at the scale, the time and the costs of the war, and the changeable pattern all over the world. Therefore, the international has been launched an upsurge of information revolutionary. The PLA derived the experience U.S. modernistic revolution to build it's joint operation ability between Army, Navy, Air Force, Space and Information space, and develop it's information troops. PLA also improved it's national defense technology, Weaponry and equipments to not only strengthen whole military strength, but build a modernistic troops by importing high-tech science and technology from other countries and self researching. At present, although the PLA still has lots of question to implement joint operation and has the generation gap than U.S. or European modernistic troops, the progress of PLA joint operation will be have a leaping promotion under the supporting of Mainland China's favorable national defense budget and Russia's high-tech science and technology backing up in military cooperation. We need pay more attention to the oncoming progress of PLA joint operation.
