The daily exercise, cognitive and sensory obstacles will cause the functional disabillity, although two-thirds of ability to restore independent, there is still a third of stroke patients due to illness cause temporary or permanent paralysis of limbs and cognitive functional barriers. For the treatment of patients with stroke, previous measuring the patient's physiological condition based Barthel Index and Modified Rankin Scale has more emphasis on patient-centered model of assessment, such as the quality of life instruments for measuring patient treatment and prognosis.
The study was designed as a case-control study. The case group was recruited from Jhangbin Hospital Sleep Center with stroke which is over the age of 20 as an subject. Basic demographic and sleep quality scale were collected by structured questionnaire clinical examination and biochemical values of polysomnography and other information collected in this study included a total number of 175 cases of groups of people. The control group was recruiteed from Jhangbin Hospital Sleep Center which has no symptoms of stroke cases against 163 cases according to the case group gender and age (± 5 years) in a 1:4 manner to select matching 652 participants with 12 total case group by gender, age (± 5 years) in 1:3 mode selected pair of 36 participants, the number of the control group included a total of 688 participants.
The results of this study show that subjective sleep scales measuring sleep quality is poor, there are problems with fatigue lethargy case, the proportion of cases in some groups than the control group, although no statistically significant differences in the physiological function of a number of objective sleep (PSG ) in the case group mean sleep time and sleep efficiency lower than the control group, hypopnea index case group was higher, and both reached statistical significance on the meaning.
