Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 自然資源與環境學系 === 102 === The Fengnan community of Hualien had worked on revitalizing the local vacant Siwei Branch of the Yongfeng Elementary School as a Farming-experience Education Area through the financial support of the government since 2009-2011。 In the end of the project there was a chance for both the researcher and the community members to explore the future management of the vacant school。 Through a series of workshops and environmental education programs convened by the researcher and community members, a Pakalongay interpreter training program for local teenagers started to put into practice in the end of 2012。 The Pakalongay interpreter training programs offer local 13-15 year-old teenagers an informal education chance to learn local knowledge from local people。 The themes and curriculum of the training programs are prepared by both the research team and the community members collectively。 The findings show that the Pakalongay interpreter training programs match the principles of the community-based environmental education。 It is suggested that planning of a community-based e environmental education training programs should employ a holistic viewpoint of the social, economic and environmental resources of the local area。
