A questionnaire survey was employed in this study, and 200 junior high school science and math teachers in Hualien County were involved. Generalized sampling was the way of choosing samples. The research methodology ”Scale of Scientific Attitude” (Lawrenz et al, 2008) and a self-editing “scientific perception questionnaires” were used throughout the whole essay. T-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation were used for data analysis. Major findings were as follows: 1. The tested teachers had positive attitudes toward science, which revealed that junior high school science and math teachers had positive attitudes toward objectivity cognition, interest, confidence in science, science contribution and learning. 2. In the attitude toward science, the tested teachers with different educational backgrounds showed significant differences while those with different genders, years and subjects of teaching didn’t. 3. In regard to science and math teachers’ scientific and math perception, two items in the general concept and teaching were not significantly different, but in the learning aspect, a significantly different result was revealed. 4. Comparing the scientific and math perception between math and science teachers, we found that the importance of the subject they taught had a higher correlation in the general concept. 5. In the learning aspect, being able to arouse learning interest, necessity for data searching on the Internet or in the library, and students’ active question answering in class were categorized to the medium correlation. 6. In the teaching aspect, cultivating ability of independent thinking and promoting teaching through research conferences as well as further education had a higher influence. This study, based on junior high school science and math teachers’ attitudes toward science, discussed teachers’ scientific perception and analyzed the differences in the perceptional performance between science and math teachers. Major findings were as follows:
