Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 生物機電工程學系研究所 === 102 === The characteristic of diesel engine is to provide high torque at low speeds, which are widely used in marine vessels, offshore vehicles and large vehicles. Taiwan is surrounded by the sea and the main transportation is used to diesel engines. this project is discussed the sea salt spray environment for diesel engine emissions .
This experiment focuses on 20% salt spray for diesel engine exhaust emissions (CO, HC, NO) and Opacity effects. Control parameters are intake humidity ratio, salt ratio, engine speed, without load and part load and the engine cooling water temperature.
Experimental results show that when using a 20% salt spray, humidity of the intake air inlet is linearly proportional to the salt, and under the same cooling water intake of salt will not vary With the engine speed increased in the no-load or part load fixed inlet humidity ratio.
Salt impact on emissions, fixed without load and partial load and under different fixed speed cooling water inlet humidity did not change significantly, but with the humidity ratio and higher opacity increments. NO and opacity at partial load condition was significantly higher than the without load condition. Fixed load, the speed and the intake air humidity ratio vary with the cooling water temperature and the higher NO emission, opacity is reduced. The same humidity ratio, and the same cooling water inlet temperature, spray rate slightly higher than the non-light mist intake of pure .
