Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of job stress, school administrative support, and job satisfaction of junior high school homeroom teachers, to explore the differences of job stress, school administrative support, and job satisfaction due to different backgrounds, and to research the relationships among job stress, school administrative support, and job satisfaction.
The present study used survey method. According to the ratio of the number of the junior high school homeroom teachers in Yunlin County, Chia-Yi County, and Chia-Yi City, 280 teachers were sampled to answer the researcher-developed questionnaire. The 248 of all questionnaires were usable. The following conclusions were made according to the results from the investigation:
1.The performance in the junior high school homeroom teachers’ job stress was a lower than medium level. The performances in their school administrative support and job satisfaction both were higher than medium levels.
2.Job stress of the junior high school homeroom teachers significantly differed from sex, years of teaching, and education level.
3.School administrative support of the junior high school homeroom teachers significantly differed from age and education level.
4.Job satisfaction of the junior high school homeroom teachers significantly differed from age.
5.Job stress, school administrative support, and job satisfaction of the junior high school homeroom teachers had significant relationship.
6.Job stress and school administrative support of the junior high school homeroom teachers could significantly predict their job satisfaction.
