Methodology: 61 male senior high school students were included, 22 in mat science training group, 18 in March drills group and 21 in the control group. Before the treatment, each one of them was tested his physical fitness performance, inclusive of sit and reach test to examine flexibility, one-minute kneel press up to test abdomen muscular endurance, standing broad jump to observe strength of lower limbs and muscular power, and walking or running for 1600 meters to explore cardiorespiratory endurance. During the treatment, the mat science training group and March drills group underwent 45-minute training, twice a week for eight weeks. Both the trainings included three levels of intensity, while the control group did not receive any treatment. Three groups all took posttest after eight weeks, and the collected data were analyzed by one-way ANCOVA. Results: The results indicated that after eight-week mat science and March drills, flexibility failed to show any significant difference; for abdomen muscular endurance, the mat science group performed significantly better than the March drills group and the control group, which the March drills group failed to show difference from the control group; for strength of lower limbs and muscular power and cardiorespiratory endurance, both groups with treatment showed significant differences from the control group, and the March drills group was even better than the mat science group. Conclusion: Therefore, we could conclude that the mat science could improve strength of lower limbs and muscular power, abdomen muscular endurance as well as cardiorespiratory endurance, and March drills could enhance muscular power as well as cardiorespiratory endurance, which even outperformed the mat science Hong Wei-Chin 洪偉欽 學位論文 ; thesis 55 zh-TW |
