This research uses narrative method, and semi-structured interviews to collect the experience of three participants, and to understand the view and feeling of parent-child interaction process for childhood witness family violence with the mother. The “holistic-content” and “categorical-content” perspectives were used to analyze the data through the interview and using case and cross-case analysis of the parent-child interaction process and enmeshment. Findings from participants descriptions are listed as follows: 1. Witness the moment:The adult child feeling the mother side is the victim;The parent-child communication is active involvement in the conflict would choose to protect the mother;The identity and attachment feels strong contradictions and conflicts. 2. After witnessing:The adult child feeling impact about cannot protect mothers, and more distressed mother and mercy, and thinking they should be able to share the burden of her mother;The parent-child communication will take the initiative to iv persuade her mother how to protect themselves and to play the role of mind to listener. The mother also prefers focus on livings, compared to non-interference in their decision;The identity and attachment experience with her mother’s emotional distance and in the course of parent-child interaction has an impact on self-triggered intense remorse, weakness and shame. 3. Storm off family violence:At this stage, The adult child recalled and re-interpretation of the children witnessed the past experience;but still looking forward to the mental state he can spend more time with share her mother’s hard work. In the course of parent-child interaction, parent-child subsystem boundaries also shows change, the study also found that some important part in this. Finally, according to the study results, this dissertation offers several practical suggestions to parents, practitioners, and researchers of future related issue.
