The traditional testing platform is usually designed only for one kind of the RF module. As a result, the design and manufacturing cost of the traditional design would be considerable. A common testing platform is developed in this thesis which is applicable to several kinds of RF module. The whole testing platform is composed of a mother board and a daughter board. The mother board is designed with all the common testing functions and the design of the daughter board is simplified with respective to each kind of RF module. In practice, a testing platform is constructed and relative experiments are carried out to verify the performance and validity of the proposed common testing platform. From the experimental results, it can be seen that the proposed design is actually applicable to the research, development and testing processes in the production manufacturing. The cost of design the testing platform for different RF modules in one year can be reduced by NTD1,654,250 which is about 47.5% of the total cost in the productions.
