Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 102 === The conventional faucet with copper material has been the mainstream in the market for decade. However, the complicated and long molding process takes labor costs and produces air pollution. The study develops an inner waterway module designed by multi-channel structure to replace conventional faucet, and the module assemblies can be equipped with common faucets directly. The proposed inner waterway assemblies adopt international standard of injection molding to reduce the high pollution produced in the process of casting, polishing and plating and saves around 67.4% of manufacturing cost. The shared assemblies, which can be applied to normal residential faucet such as shower and basin, reduces 37.5% of production time and meets customers’ requirement in developing time. Finally, the function and feasibility of inner waterway module is evaluated through compression strength test, product lifetime and bursting pressure test according to ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) code. The eco-friendly faucet with various colors, creative structure, unique style and multi-function provides the household safe and lead-free water for the health of all family members.
