The study is limited to the homeroom teachers from four public and private high schools in Taoyuan County, applies high quality in-depth interviews to collecting information, and engages in incorporated arrangements and information analysis. The work stress on general high school teachers who teach students with emotional and behavioral disorders can be categorized into six parts: academic problems from students with emotional and behavioral disorders, interpersonal problems from students with emotional and behavioral disorders, dealing with behavioral problems from students with emotional and behavioral disorders, others, how much stress the teachers feel from work and the influence on teachers’ work stress. 2. The response strategies for general high school teachers when facing work stress can be divided into: problem solving, emotion relieving, and others. Problem solving strategies include: seeking aid from administration, positive and excellent communication between teachers and parents, good interaction between teachers and students, making good use of peer support, keeping company for extra time and discussing ways of packling with other people. Emotion relieving strategies include: temporary putting aside and diverting focus, separating work from personal time, diverting attention and relieving emotion. Others include: a teacher’s personality trait, insisting on the creed of never giving up and strength of faith. Ya-Hui, Yang 楊雅惠 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 151 zh-TW |
