Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 特殊教育學系所 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the current condition and the relevance of special education teachers’ role stress and the school organizational climate in junior high school in Taichung City, and the difference of background variables. In order to reach the study purpose, this study chose survey method which used “General Information”, “The Questionnaire of role stress” and “The Questionnaire of school organizational climate” as a survey tool. The study objects were the Special Education Teachers in Junior High School in Taichung City, and the effective samples were 180 in total. According to the result of the questionnaire, the analysis of data was operated by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. Based on the result of the analyzed data, the conclusions of the study were drawn as follows: 1. The sensitive degree of role stress for special education teachers in junior high school was higher. 2. The sensitive degree of school organizational climate for special education teachers in junior high school was intermediate. As to the types of organizational climate, the principal types were "open type" and "closed type." 3. Teachers’ perceptions to the role stress varied significantly depending on their background only existed in “school size.” 4. Teachers’ perceptions to the organizational climate varied significantly depending on their background such as "age", "teaching years for special education", and "whether to engaged in administrative tasks." 5. There was low negative correlation between teachers’ perceptions to the degree of role stress and school organizational climate of special education teachers. Finally, based on the research results, recommendations were proposed for educational institutions, school teachers, and follow-up studies.
