Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 車輛科技研究所 === 102 === Abstract People's attention to environmental protection, the vehicle exhaust emission regulations become more stringent. However, the oil content was lack. Many countries are moving in the direction towards environmental protection and energy conservation. In this study, the effects of methanol-gasoline blends fuel(M10、M20、M30、M40) and coolant temperature (60℃、70℃、 80℃、90℃) to study the performance and emission characteristics for SI engines. In the experiments, an engine having a four-cylinder, four-stroke, naturally aspirated, port fuel injection system SI engine was used, and the engine revolution per minute was fixed at 1000 rpm、2000 rpm、3000 rpm and 4000 rpm. The results showed that blending pure gasoline with methanol slightly decreased the HC and CO emission and torque output and increased the fuel consumption. However, increasing the cooling temperature for HC and CO emissions was decreasing. Increasing the coolant temperature was improved fuel consumption. By Increasing the coolant temperature can reduce the blends fuel consumption. Use LPG fuel and different coolant temperature in SI engine to study performance and emissions. LPG due to uniform mixing can make the HC and CO emissions decreased. But NOX emissions tend to increase. Increasing coolant temperature make pure gasoline and LPG to reduce HC and CO emission, but caused the torque output to reduce.
