The Chinese version of the patient attitude scale using a five-point Likert scale has been widely used in Taiwan with nine dimensions and 41 questions. In this study, nine dimensions and 41 questions of attitude scale for patient safety within the hospital's medical staff on the demographic variables were analyzed. The results showed that the hospital medical staff with administration positions is more aware of patient safety. In addition, working experience and level of education have impacts on patient safety. Moreover, elderly staff pays much attention to patient safety culture in terms of dimensions. Staff with administration positions also has positive attitude toward patient safety culture.
