In Taiwan the Solenopsis invicta is discovered in 2003 in Taoyuan and Chiayi area, that can not only cause damage to property and crops on the destruction of the ecological environment, but also pose a threat to personal life, coupled with the rapid proliferation has caused considerable threat. Field observations that the Polyrhachis dives with a strong spine in the wild is active attack trends entity fire ant, and therefore can be considered as potential resistance of biological species.Nest choices of Polyrhachis dives are mainly due to three factors: light, space and strategy. 16 experiments are designed to figure out the real factor of nest choosing. In the experiments of light variation, the rate of immigration increases as light wave length increases because Hymenoptera is lack of red light sensitivity. In the experiments of space , the shape of the nest does not show any impact on nest choosing behavior.The optimum width of artificial triangular prism nest is 2 centimeter and the number of ants is in proportion to length of the nest. Strategy explains the different roles between worker ants and the queen in behavior of nest choice. The result is that the worker ants are adaptable and executive while the queen is rigid but not executive and does not prefer environment changing, even though she is decision maker.
