Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 化學系 === 102 === A six-coordinated N4S2 iron(II) complex, Fe(PyriImS)2, with ligands containing pyridino, imino, and thiolate functionalities was successfully obtained and characterized with structural information. Interestingly, this complex can be converted to its amido iron(III) derivative by simply exposing it to air. The mechanism of this oxidation reaction was further explored and compared to the proposed ones in the literature. Previously, we obtained a six-coordinated N4S2 iron(III) complex, [PPN][Fe(PyImS)2], and its two-oxygenated derivative, [PPN][Fe(PyImS)(PyImSO2)], with ligands containing pyrrolyl, imino, and thiolate functionalities. Now, we were able to obtain the more oxidized complex, [PPN][Fe(PyImSO2)2], with structural identification. The possibilities of inter-conversion of these three complexes using oxidation and reduction reagents were also reported.
