One is the design of the multi band CBCPW (conductor-backed coplanar waveguide) antenna and another design is multi-band PIFA (Planar Inverted-F Antennas). The first proposal antenna is designed to the triple-bands miniaturized antenna, which cover 615MHz to 808MHz, 1520MHz to 2049MHz and 2390MHz to 2790MHz frequency bands of the LTE system specification. The antenna structure is feed by the conductor-backed coplanar waveguide structure. We design the main structure of the antenna to support the lower frequency band at first. And then, we use the technique of changing of the current path length and width to provide the multi frequency band and increase the antenna bandwidth for the lower frequency band. The second one is designed as a dual band antenna for mobile application, which covers 698MHz to 960MHz and 2500MHz to 2690MHz frequency bands of the LTE system specification. The antenna is designed using PIFA structures. We meet the designing requirement by changing the current path and utilizing the characteristic of shorting pin to increase addition current path to dual bands.
