High-technology development makes mobile devices popular; users can enjoy the conveniences of accessing information, personal entertainment options, and the connections of communication apps and social networking sites, which lead to two following social conditions: 1. people seeming unconcerned about the matters in physical space; 2. people retaining less affective communication and connection with the matters in physical space. The scope of the study covers the connection between people and the corresponding affective responses between people and physical spaces, furthermore, analyzing the impacts of message exchanging across networks before and after the digital age in the virtual and physical spaces. Based on the analysis results, the author developed a message-exchanging model of the digital age in the physical spaces under the integration of the virtual and physical spaces, which lets the values of message exchanging channels in two ages existing alongside one another. The author developed a message interflowing system based on a theoretical model designed by the research analysis, implements the practice of the system, and analyzes the following development and future research directions in the digital age. 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 建築研究所 === 102 === In the digital age, the message-exchanging model relies too heavily on virtual space.
High-technology development makes mobile devices popular; users can enjoy the
conveniences of accessing information, personal entertainment options, and the
connections of communication apps and social networking sites, which lead to two
following social conditions: 1. people seeming unconcerned about the matters in physical
space; 2. people retaining less affective communication and connection with the matters
in physical space. The scope of the study covers the connection between people and the
corresponding affective responses between people and physical spaces, furthermore,
analyzing the impacts of message exchanging across networks before and after the digital
age in the virtual and physical spaces.
Based on the analysis results, the author developed a message-exchanging model of the
digital age in the physical spaces under the integration of the virtual and physical spaces,
which lets the values of message exchanging channels in two ages existing alongside one
another. The author developed a message interflowing system based on a theoretical
model designed by the research analysis, implements the practice of the system, and
analyzes the following development and future research directions in the digital age.
