Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 工學院永續環境科技學程 === 102 === Cutting oil with abrasive particles are required in the solar panel crystal brick chips manufacturing processr. When the cutting is in process the cutting ability of the abrasive grains will gradually decrease. When milling particles have no cutting ability, there is a formation of waste cutting oil, which contains waste、wafer crumbs and abrasive particles, wherein the SS (suspended solids) can reach average values of 30-50% (w/w).
This study investigated the physical mechanism of waste cutting oil recycling with the use of a scraper device. In this experiment a circular flat membrane was used. The membrane had a pore size of 0.03μm.The results showed that scraper bars with a diameter of 5 cm had the best scraping results to give the membrane prolonged liquidity. With this pumping fluid motor designed flow rate of 50 GPD, the long term operation can be reached up to three months. The chemical properties of the cutting oil after membrane filtration recovery methods was proved by GC-Mass spectrum analysis. And it reavealed that the recycled oil additive composition and the content of the new oil had a high similarity. Thus when added the recycled oil with a proportion ranges from 20 to 100%, the viscosity, pH and conductivity of cutting oil can all meet the customer's requirement. This study proved that cutting oil recovery using a filter membrane with a scraping device can meet the needs of customer requirements for recycled cutting oil without adding other chemical additives.
