Forty-one elementary school badminton players were recruited in present study and they were randomly divided into three groups: control group (CG, n=11), nine-square training group (STG, n=15), and agility ladder training group (ATG, n=15). The CG, STG and ATG carried out their daily training program; moreover STG and ATG performed a specific six-week training protocol before the daily training. The TRT, BS and agility T-test were measured before and after six weeks training program. The results were tested by using Analysis of Covariance: (ANCOVA) and Post Hoc method among groups, and one-way ANOVA procedure was used in testing the difference between pre-tests and post-tests within group. The statistical significance level was set at α = 0.05. The results were as follows: 1.There were significant difference among CG, STG and ATG in TRT, BF and agility T-test. And STG and ATG were superior to CG in all tests. There were no significant difference between STG and ATG. 2.Compares with the results of pre-test, there were significant improvement in STG and ATG in all tests, but CG was not. Conclusion: after a six-week training program (three times per week), both of nine-square training and agility ladder training could improve the TRT, BF and agility T-test effectively. The results indicated that there were no differences between STG and ATG. This phenomenon means that the coach could enrich the training program by using these methods and improve the physical abilities of elementary school badminton players HE, JIN-SHAN 何金山 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
