Research on High School Physical Education Students’ Willingness for Further Studies and the Influential Factors

碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育推廣學系 === 102 === This study aims to investigate the current situation of high school physical education students’ willingness for further studies and the influential factors as well as the related situation of its variables. For this purpose, this study took the students in our high school physical education class in Taiwan as the study subjects and the self-designed “questionnaire on high school physical education students’ willingness for further studies” as a research tool for the survey. 1054 questionnaires were distributed, among which 881 valid questionnaires were retrieved, with the effective retrieval rate at 84%. The conclusions were obtained as follows after the information was analyzed. First, the willingness of the subjects for further studies is higher; their willingness to attend public schools is higher than that of private schools; their willingness to choose to attend sports colleges is higher than that of universities; their willingness to choose to attend sports related departments is higher than that of other departments; Second, the willingness for further studies of subjects with different backgrounds are different; Third, the influential factors for the willingness for further studies of subjects with different backgrounds are different; Fourth, the willingness for further studies and its influential factors are significantly and positively correlated; Fifth, the influential factors could predict the willingness for further studies. Finally, this study proposed related recommendations for school units and follow-up research respectively based on the results.
