In the past, the financial power of industry and its scale can change everything, but now, software is more powerful than the hardware, the quality or essence of manpower, intelligence of brain may decide the future.
The financial magazine in the U.S. says concretely: if industry does not change, there can be no future”. People often say: so-called management is constantly making decision, if you only insist management decision to be logical, can your method be effective? The Buddhist says “people’s appearance change with your heart, this means your decision has made a change of opportunity.
For 40 years, Taiwan has experienced “Encouragement of investment law”, ”promotion of industry advancement law”, and “ industry advancement law” etc. All these laws are followed with each suitable policy, indicating Taiwan has advanced from labor intensive industries to capital intensive industries. With the advancement of skill intensive industries, our future is pushing towards advancement of intelligence, creating core industry intensive to capital intensive industry. Advancement of intelligence, and then advance toward core industry levels. 30 years ago, as China opened up its door, vivid Taiwan industry pursues interest foundation, moving to China. 30years later, Taiwan economy or even the “enter china” Taiwan industries has already advanced to a certain level. The rise of newly advancing countries has made Taiwan no longer able to rely on them.
The labor cost has already obtained struggle advantages. Therefore, only by changing concept can we meet the worldwide industry’s soundless revolution.
Through observation of existing environment toward a change of concept, changing unconscious concept into creating concept, from development of concept toward creating new frame or strategy, making change into a strong core consideration tools.
Deeply observing Taiwan’s existing environment, not only we have no choice but to be consolidated into worldwide industries, we should even strengthen “industries change” to fit into the trend of exposure of world-wide economic cycle, and movements, developing the industries with “R&D” as core center.
Thereby, we can increase our competition with the constantly changing environments of worldwide situation, and then making change as our back-up. From laying the foundation of science and technology, to ensure staff efforts towards home companies. Thus, we can expect along the industry values change and the shock of changing cycles of economy. We can still continue to advance, and also expect the return to Taiwan of industries moving out before.
As I have worked in Japanese companies for quite a long time, I have observed the core value of Japanese culture. I have especially observed the some 40 years after the World War II, there hid a structure of 100 millions people consolidating efforts together. This is the so-called “riding in the same boat” or “cooperative body” spirits, also so-called reciprocal recognition system of the vested interest. It means, they unite together hand, heart and head, very positive, full of sacrifice spirit, which really arouse people’s respect and let people feel very touching. This is why we take the biggest 10 Japanese commercial companies and the biggest 6 Japanese enterprise for study, analysis and taking them as mirror.
We sigh at Taiwan’s difficulty in raising and transferring business styles, also because of the ambiguity of each industry’s development, consolidation of different industries has became a trend.
Therefore, the currents of management of different industries have developed in a horiznotical directions. They also develop in vertical direction to strengthen their business, changing industries so that Taiwan can fully grasp knowledge to meet new circumstances. They completely become a fighting or battle body.
In the management of different industries, they show their business power, working together, helping each other, and together they completely raise their images, also to avoid risks. Thereby they can completely “change the future” to continue their business management, reaching their highest objective or targets.
