碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系 === 102 === In order to achieve the vision of urban development, it requires the concepts from planners and also concerns from the developers. Developers play important roles in the whole procedure for envisioning the plan. They promote, regenerate and manage the local development. However there are always some gaps between reality and ideal, and gaps between developers and planners. Therefore, there is a need to get further information and investigation of developers as we planners always hope the ideal of city to become real. In the process of resource partition, the developers are divided into two types. One is generalist organization and the other is specialist organization. We here take the organization as developers and this research will focus on the specialist developer in Tainan. Through interviewing with the employees in the company and inquiring about the process of each housing development cases. This research concludes the way how the developer becomes certain kind of organization focusing on one specific building type.
