However, users can not touch virtual objects in AR because they are only projections. As such, how to provide haptic feedback and haptic perception to assist user control when users manipulate AR-enabled devices is the goal in the future. This research employed a focus group to collect innovative ideas of haptic feedback devices. After analyzing the data and constructing a model, we successfully designed a haptic feedback device without electric drive. The model not only conducts objective assessments by Words per minute and the error rate, but also uses Technology Acceptance Model to perform subjective assessments. While the score of operating the AR virtual keyboard with haptic feedback device is better than without, it is still inferior to the control a physical keyboard offers. From the subjective assessment analysis, users had positive intentions of using haptic feedback devices, so we believe that research into such devices featuring AR still has much development space in the future.
