Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工程科學系 === 102 === Applying rotation blade to increase turbulence intensity of flow nearby the membrane can decrease both temperature and concentration polarizations and therefore can enhance the permeating flux and separation factor. The thesis uses numerical simulation to investigate the wall shear field in a hot cavity circulation region of an air gap membrane distillation system for ethanol extraction by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and Taguchi analysis to find the optimal parameters. The results validate that wall shear near the membrane increases greatly with rotational motion. Different inpouring feed flux, concentration, stirring speed, and feed temperature will influence the permeating flux and separation factor.
