However, this industry is typically categorized as for domestic needs only, which can be influenced by economic fluctuation largely . When the domestic economy depression occurs, the needs of public constructions and industrial buildings would decline as well. Therefore, it has been drawn a lot of attention by both the scholars and the operators on how construction firms survive and develop through economic downturn. This study employed a case study to examine the strategies for the transformation of the construction industry, especially for small and medium sized firms. The study began with a series of secondary data gathering and industrial environment analysis, followed by case study and analysis. The study shows that a company can strengthen its competitive advantages, expand its business lines and develop new market by its related diversification strategy to sustain its survival and continuing growth. 徐俊明 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 31 zh-TW |
