Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 102 === In consideration of the trend of digital convergence and changes in the regulations of the cable TV industry in Taiwan, this thesis proposes a number of strategies in a case-study manner. The strategies contains internal and external categories. The internal strategies are consisted of investment, going public, and improvement of operations and products. On the other hand, the external strategies include cooperations and mergers and acquisitions (M&As). I develop feasible plans for important strategies, which can be used as a blueprint for cable TV firms to pursue their long-run prospects. This study is thus valuable for pratictioners of the cable TV indsutry.
