cram schools for the examination of public servant become popular recently. The traditional operation in these cram schools is different from the correspondence courses. Hence, we focus on the analysis of the important factors that affect the operation of correspondence courses. We utilize the empirical data from the S company that having most of correspondence courses of civil service and apply the multivariate regression analysis to find the important factors that affect the company’s operational performance. Based on the empirical evidence, we find that the population of qualified examinee, the consumption, especially the educational consumption, and national income play important roles in the operational revenues of correspondence courses. The saving rate and unemployment rate, however, have no significant impact on the revenues. This finding would help firms of correspondence courses to make their operational strategies that can maximize their stockholders’ wealth.
