Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 運動與健康管理研究所 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the demands and its related applications from volleyball players. There were a total of 500 volleyball players participated in this study. This study was a quantitative design, and the questionnaire was used as the research tool, which was: demographics, volleyball player''s experience, volleyball combined with informational technology and the level of needs from volleyball players. The descriptive statistics, t-test, Person’s product-moment correlation, and one-way ANOVA were used as the statistical methods to examine the research questions, a .05 level of significance was used for all statistical analysis.
The results indicated that the needs for volleyball players were existed. The level of necessary demands was the highest, following by technical demands and additional demands. The degrees of different demands depended on the various experiences and backgrounds from volleyball players. In addition, the results showed that 15-20 years old players who were living in the eastern Taiwan have a higher level of technical demands. The willingness in the use of App was increased when the numbers of players and the degrees of various demands were increased. Further, the satisfaction with the use of existed information system was low, however, the use of the combination between volleyball information system and App would be higher.
The conclusion of this study was that App is the trendiest and novel equipment in contemporary time and it is necessary to focus on the understanding of the various demands from volleyball players and their experiences in the use of App to increase the willingness of using App. The issues of integrating information technology and suffering approach were still unsolved for volleyball players in Taiwan. Therefore, providing a suitable App will elevate the number of participants in volleyball and increase the community identity of volleyball. Consequently, the value of this study was to investigate the potential needs of a high-tech App for volleyball players. Finally, this study provided two suggestions for further research: (1) the results showed lower usage and satisfaction of sport websit, hence, this study will provide re-design reference; (2) the results of this study will provide useful references and information to develop the sports App.
