A Study on Equity of Compulsory Educational Resources allocation in Penghu County

碩士 === 國立政治大學 === 教育行政與政策研究所 === 102 === This study focused on investigating the education resource allocations of junior high schools and villages municipals in Penghu County from 2010 to 2013. Depending on theoretical literatures, we established some viable indicators for educational resource distribution. Based on the indicators, we further empirically analyzed the education resource allocations for specific parts in Penghu County, including junior high school/ elementary school, and village/ city. In the results, this study revealed two conclusions. （1） The unfair aspects of educational resource distribution （the gini coefficient > 0.4） included: a. human resource, physical resource and educational information resource in junior high schools and elementary schools; educational information resource in villages and cities. （2） The unfair indicators of educational resource distribution （the gini coefficient > 0.4） included: a. stuff/ student ratio in elementary schools; b. average capital budget, average land area, and average number of computers （per student） in junior high schools and elementary schools; c. average number of computers （per student） in villages and cities. According to the results, some suggestions were also proposed for practical applications or next researches. Keywords: educational resources, educational equity, the Gini coefficient
