The whole system comprises with a driving motor, the motor driving circuit, an un-calibrated servo motor, the calculation and control circuit, and the display circuit. For the various application, we give two design circuits for the DC driving motor and AC servo driving motor. Operate in generator mode,by comparing the back-EMF and the encoder output signals of the uncalibrated motor, the FPGA-based controller will calculate the motor and the encoder parameters which includes the deviated angle for the encoder installation and output the parameters to the LCD display. By VHDL implementing, the whole function of the FPGA-based controller includes with the DC or AC motor control, parameter calculation of the un-calibrated motor, encoder signal decoding, LCD module control and data displaying to accomplish the calibration system.
