Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 服務事業管理研究所 === 102 === This study aims at exploring the relationship, current situation, and relevant forecasts among the individual’s perceived freedom of leisure, boredom of leisure and benefits of leisure for the staffs of medical institute. Research samples with the method of snowball sampling, there are coming from several medical institutes with questionnaire survey. The total issued questionnaires are 400 and 295 valid questionnaires were returned with respondent percentage of 84%. Statistical analysis is available with software package using SPSS Statistics version 13.0 for windows and compare with framework of research for examination and analysis. Inspection of data is availed with the statistics method of Descriptive statistics, item analysis, one- way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the staffs with variables of different background have the significant differences to perceived freedom in leisure and leisure boredom. Gender of female who was age of over 30 years old and married with children is usually higher than those of gender of male is having more degree of perceived freedom in leisure activities. Gender of male who was single, without child, need to shift work, overtime working, and spend the money less than 1000 NT dollar is usually higher than those of gender of female is having more degree of boredom in leisure activities. The most common choice of leisure activities was “outdoor activities” which produced a higher score than audiovisual leisure activities on the dimension of involvement in depth. There were chosen in audiovisual leisure activities which produced significantly a higher score than “outdoor activities” on the dimension of competence in leisure. “Cultural activities” usually produced significantly a higher score than “outdoor activities” on the dimension of boredom in leisure. The more the perceived freedom was analyzed statistically, the higher the benefits in leisure were obtained. On the other hand, the more the leisure boredom was analyzed statistically, the lower the benefits in leisure were obtained. Furthermore, the better the perceived freedom was analyzed statistically, the less the boredom in leisure was obtained, and perceived freedom in leisure and leisure boredom could be provided leisure benefits for a measurable predictive power and up to 75.7%. Finally, the results suggested that the findings provided some available proposals for managers of medical unit were used as the measures of staff’s welfare with reference to the policy of remaining employees, and also provided staffs of medical unit who played attention to the necessity of perceived freedom as a reference for planning of leisure activities.
