Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 觀光事業學系碩士在職專班 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to examine and evaluate the impacts of workplace spirituality on organization commitments. The study examined the impacts from the point of view of organizational development, human resources, and basic OB models (Robbins, 2003). In the past, spirituality was mostly related to a religious concept. Recently, as model society and people’s life style change, spirituality is becoming more important in the workplace. Therefore, this study was done to examine the impacts of spirituality in the workplace, including three dimensions of the individual, the group, and the organization, toward organizational commitments The subjects (n=207) were the employees from travel agents in Taiwan. Using a structural equation modeling approach, the results showed that all three levels of workplace spirituality directly influenced organizational commitments and the most influenced was the organizational level. Suggestions from theoretical and practical implications were also provided.
