碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 102 === This is a qualitative based research done to an adolescent suffering from parental loss. She is in her important developing stage of adolescence and currently enrolled in her third year Junior High schooling. Her recovery owes to the help of the Orphanage Foundation and the after school program given by New Taipei Light and Care Association. This program made depth interviews to collect data by trying to understand the significant mentality changes in her life and analyzing spiritual views. This investigation confirmed that the church after school program reflects Christian Spiritual Counseling Program. This case connotes that her recovery is greatly influenced by the inspiration given to her spiritual life. Based on the purpose of the research, the data analysis and discussion made bring forth three conclusions and also propose four directive suggestions: the expectation that this may help officials responsible for education in their counseling of vulnerable students, and also suggests new variation for the development of education to make them not only recovered but also positive towards life.
