Enterprises in order to meet consumer demand and hope to promise customers have encountered all orders up to pay on time, due to the ability to quickly adapt to market, the lack of materials and outsourced production capacity situation will not occur, improve supply chain bullwhip effect, vendor management inventory (VMI ) is one of the best methods, which can be shared through inventory information between buyers and sellers, the supplier is responsible for controlling inventory levels of customers, to avoid the customer due to inventory shortage caused by too high or out of stock, in order to reduce inventory and provide customer standards of service and other purposes. For a long time the supply chain to include the uncertainty of demand uncertainty, supply uncertainty, manufacturing uncertainty and so on, this will be the case study company''s suppliers cut inventory management perspective, covering the bullwhip effect, supply chain management, inventory management and VMI''s instructions, and to compare differences in inventory management for the benefit brought by different modes, to verify the effectiveness of supply chain management brought under VMI relatively better than the traditional supply chain. This study is to investigate the cases of the company into VMI process encountered some problems why Taiwan IT industry needs VMI mechanism and system, factors which influence its use? Contents of their VMI mechanisms and systems that? VMI mechanism and system in promoting the process, encountered problems and solutions. And the use of VMI benefits for enterprises which produce? This study eager to understand the business process using VMI factors that should be considered in order to provide to the enterprise to build a framework of reference VMI.
