Description
Summary:碩士 === 康寧大學 === 休閒管理研究所 === 102 === This research aims to understand the situations of leisure exercise participation and leisure constraints of junior high school teachers in Tainan City before and after the implementation of the 12-Year Basic Education. Moreover, it discusses the difference of the leisure exercise participation and leisure constraints of those teachers with different background variables. A questionnaire survey was conducted by stratified random sampling method on the population of teachers from 63 municipal junior high schools (including junior high departments in municipal high schools) in 37 districts of Tainan City. The research tool was “Questionnaires for the impact of the 12-Year Basic Education to the participation on leisure exercises and leisure constraints for junior high school teachers in Tainan City”. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed. The data were analyzed using SPSS software for descriptive analysis, Chi-square test, One-way ANOVA, and independent sample t-test. The results are as follows: Regarding the participation on leisure exercises, whether before or after the implementation of the 12-Year Basic Education, the weekly participation frequency of the teachers was mostly “twice or below”, for “20-30 minutes” each time. The most commonly participated exercise type is “outdoor leisure exercise”, and the main factor affecting the exercise choice is “individual physical condition”. In terms of the leisure exercise constraints, the dimension of “interpersonal constraints” is the most common. The factors of “crowded exercise place”, “family burden or work stress”, and “less spare time due to the training programs related to the 12-Year Basic Education” are more common. Before and after the implementation of the 12-Year Basic Education, the teachers have significant differences in leisure exercise participation under variables of gender, age, marital status, educational level, years of service, and position. Moreover, the variables of marital status and years of service of the teachers have significant differences in leisure constraint factors. Whether before and after the implementation of the 12-Year Basic Education, there is no correlation between “participation frequency in leisure exercises” and “constraints for leisure exercises”.
