The subjects, in Grade 10, 11, and 12, are 34 male students currently studying in National Tainan Second Senior High School. In the consecutive 9 weeks of curriculum, tests on the subjects’ are weight, body fat, waist measurements, and physical fitness conducted in the 1st and the 9th week. The same tests are conducted again in the 27th week. The study finds: (1) average weight in the 1st week is 82.7KG, 78.8KG in the ninth; (2) average body fat in the 1st week is 22.9%, 21.9% in the ninth; (3) average ratio of waist measurements in the 1st week is 0.87, 0.84 in the ninth; (4) average BMI in the 1st week is 27.6, 26.3 in the ninth; (5) average length of Sit-and-Reach in the 1st week is 29.6CM, 30.7CM in the ninth; (6) average number of Sit-Up in one minute in the 1st week is 41.7, 43.6 in the ninth; (7) average performance of Standing Long Jump in the 1st week is 188.1CM, 191.2CM in the ninth; (8) average performance of 1600-meter run/walk in the 1st week is 536.3 seconds, 502.8 seconds in the ninth. The results indicate that the implement of the curriculum effectively improves the participants’ performance in weight, body fat, and physical fitness. In the 27th week when the same tests are conducted again, the study finds that the average weight is 80.6KG and that the average body fat 21.7%. While the performance drops slightly, the average waist measurements are normal. The results show that the curriculum facilitates their development of lifelong habits of exercise and weight control. Schools and authorities concerned are suggested to actively implement the curriculum to help the students reach of goal of staying in shape and dieting healthily.
